An audiovisual announcement of the production 'The modesty of icebergs' by Daniel Leveille. A choreography performed by six dancers dressed in their natural costume. Their vulnerable, white bodies standing out to the blackness of the background, making them appear to have a marble skin. The piece revolves around the movement of their bodies in relation to the surrounding space with a continuous alternation of trios and duos in the absence of competition.
For me, the production has a reference to mathematics and geometry as compared to the calculated, repetitive movements executed by the dancers. In the poster, body movement is therefore approached as an isolated, abstract, mathematical experience with the typography being the method to create connections between those movements.
